A long but instructive story…
One day the king of a city decided that he would build a grand archway and take his ride from under it and show his pride in front of the people with pride. When that glorious moment came, everyone was stunned to see that the king's crown collided with the arch of the gate. Actually the door was made very low.
The king was enraged! He ordered that the contractor who will do the construction work should be punished. When the contractor was taken to the gallows, he told everyone that the real mistake was made by the construction workers who had done all the work of building the gates.
The king was eager to do justice and summoned the artisans. The craftsmen put all the blame on the bricks that they made the wrong size bricks. The brickworker said that he had acted according to the instructions of the bus gate mapper. The mapper stated that he implemented some suggestions given by the king in the last phase of construction which resulted in the door being lowered.
"Call the smartest person in the state!" - The king said - "This is undoubtedly a very complex problem and we have to consult the experts on this!"
The soldiers captured the most intelligent person of the state. He was so old that he could not even stand on his feet. Being old, he was also the most intelligent. In his trembling voice, he said - "The biggest demand of this time is that the guilty should be punished soon and in this case according to me the biggest culprit is nobody but this gate."
Appreciating the decision of the old, the king announced that the door should be demolished and destroyed. When all the preparations for the demolition of the gate were completed, one of the king's advisors expressed his opinion that the door cannot be dropped in such a way as he has touched the king's holy head once.
In the meantime, the wise old man took his last breaths in the disaster of not falling down. There was no other intelligent person left in the kingdom to discuss the opinion given by the king's advisor. In such a situation, the Chief Justice suggested that the lower end of the gate be crucified because only this part of the door had not touched the king's head. In this way the rest of the door will be saved.
But when the executioners tried to wrap the lower part of the gate in the hanging loop, it found that the rope had become short. A rope builder was called who expressed his opinion that the scaffolding had become high and that the carpenter had made all the mistake.
"People are losing their patience!" - The king said - "We have to find someone as soon as possible and hang him." We will discuss the specifics of crime and justice issues at an appropriate time. ”
Within a very short time, the height of all the people of the state was meticulously measured, but only one man sat on the gallows so accurately that he could be hanged. That man and nobody was the king himself. There was such enthusiasm in the public to find a man who fit the size of the noose, that the king did not have the courage to ignore the public and he got hanged.
"Thank God we got someone to hang us" - the Prime Minister sighs with relief - "If we did not care about the sentiments of the people on this issue, then there would have been a lot of outrage in the state."
Now the second crisis stood before the Prime Minister. Everyone started to feel that now their country has become kingless and it is very important to elect a new king as soon as possible. Rajpurohit said that according to tradition, the first person to enter through the border of the state will be made the king of the city.
Vajramurkh was the first person to enter the state. He was not a man with whom we meet often. When people asked him who should be made the king, he said 'watermelon'. He said this because he used to give watermelon answers to every question. He loved watermelons so much that nothing else came to his mind except him.
In this way, a watermelon was put on the throne by wearing a Rajmukut in a grand ceremony.
All this happened long ago. Today, when people ask the citizens of that country why their king is a watermelon, they say - "It is our belief that Maharajadhiraja wants to be a watermelon himself." We, the citizens, will respect his wish as long as he does not want to enjoy anything else. In our country, the king has the right to be what he wants to be. As long as they do not interfere in our lives, we are happy to have their melon. "
